(2) Requiring the use to be subject to conditions other than those specified
in the Maryland Vehicle Law; or

(3) Otherwise regulating the use in his discretion.

(C) IN CALVERT COUNTY, A POLICE OFFICER MAY ENFORCE THE PROVISIONS
OF THE MARYLAND VEHICLE LAW ON A PRIVATE ROADWAY IN CALVERT COUNTY
THAT IS LOCATED WITHIN A RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION OR COMMUNITY AND USED
FOR VEHICULAR TRAVEL BY RESIDENTS OF THE SUBDIVISION OR COMMUNITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Aviation Commission - Powers and Duties

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Aviation Commission to determine the
qualifications, appointment, compensation, and leave for certain management
employees of the Maryland Aviation Administration; requiring that certain
factors be considered in making these determinations; requiring the Secretary of
Budget and Management to review proposed salary adjustments and make
certain advisements; providing that certain employees appointed by the
Administration are entitled to participate in State retirement and pension
systems; requiring certain information be submitted annually to the Maryland
General Assembly; requiring that certain compensation be limited in a certain
fiscal year; and generally relating to the powers and duties of the Maryland
Aviation Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
