for the cost of living allowance (COLA). For presentation purposes only, the salaries
are the annual salary amounts which will be effective on January 1, 2000. Positions in
this section will receive the COLA according to the same schedule as positions in the
Standard Pay Plan. Individuals recruited or promoted into the executive pay plan,
whether from within or outside the State government, or individuals promoted within
the executive pay plan shall receive a salary increase of not more than 6% unless the
Board of Public Works finds there are unusual circumstances that justify a larger
salary increase.
