VA01.04 Field Services

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
funds far HotSpot grants in Carroll, Cecil,
Queen Anne's, and St Mary's Counties
shall be contingent upon receipt of a report
of the performance of the existing HotSpot
program for fiscal 1998 prior to July 1,
1999; and, that it is the intent of the
General Assembly that funds for the
expansion of the HotSpot program may be
used for expansion to new HotSpots
HotSpot locations and appropriate
expansion of activities at existing
HotSpots HotSpot locations. Further
provided that no funds may be expended
for the expansion of HotSpots until a plan
detailing how the funds will be spent has
been submitted to the budget committees
for review and comment or 45 days have
elapsed from its receipt. The plan Not

submitted to the budget committees which
shall include the parameters used in
selecting sites either for the expansion of
existing HotSpots HotSpot activity or for
