General Fund Appropriation, provided
|
|
|
that no funds may be expended to
|
|
|
support after school programs
|
|
|
operated by the Child First Authority
|
|
|
unless all staff and programs under
|
|
|
the auspices of the Child First
|
|
|
Authority meet the following
|
|
|
requirements at a minimum:
|
|
|
a. federal and State criminal records
|
|
|
history checks for all staff;
|
|
|
b. Child Protective Services registry
|
|
|
check for all staff;
|
|
|
c. pre-employment medical evaluation
|
|
|
for all staff including a tuberculosis
|
|
|
screening;
|
|
|
d. readily accessible emergency
|
|
|
information for each child;
|
|
|
e. developmentally appropriate
|
|
|
adult-child ratios and attendance
|
|
|
records to assure necessary
|
|
|
supervision;
|
|
|
f. first-aid training of staff:
|
|
|
g. availability of space that is safe for
|
|
|
children and program objectives;
|
|
|
h. availability of telephone in case of
|
|
|
emergency; and
|
|
|
i. appropriate staff training and
|
|
|
