STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION
The State Highway Administration
shall establish in 1999 and maintain
a Woodrow Wilson Bridge center in
Maryland in the Constellation Center
in Prince George's County as part of
the Woodrow Wilson Bridge
Replacement Project The center will
be equal in quality and caliber to the
Alexandria Design Center in Virginia.
The center should be designed to
provide a convenient setting for
informational meetings with
Maryland citizens and communities
and provide a headquarters for the
project's Disadvantaged Business
Enterprise (DBE) and Women's
Business Enterprise (WBE) outreach
programs. The center should be
established with staff capable of
providing State and local business
experience and expertise in
developing DBE and WBE programs.
The Maryland Department of
Transportation is directed to use every
effort to secure federal funds to
support the center.
