(C) GOVERNMENTS AND OTHER ENTITIES.
GOVERNMENTS, GOVERNMENTAL UNITS, STATES, POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OF
STATES, BOARDS, ASSOCIATIONS, ESTATES, TRUSTEES, AND FIDUCIARIES MAY
EXCHANGE RECIPROCAL INSURANCE CONTRACTS WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH
INDIVIDUALS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND CORPORATIONS TO THE SAME EXTENT THAT
INDIVIDUALS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND CORPORATIONS MAY EXCHANGE RECIPROCAL
INSURANCE CONTRACTS.
(D) REPRESENTATIVES OF SUBSCRIBERS.
AN OFFICER, REPRESENTATIVE, TRUSTEE, RECEIVER, OR LEGAL
REPRESENTATIVE OF A SUBSCRIBER SHALL BE RECOGNIZED AS ACTING FOR OR ON
BEHALF OF THE SUBSCRIBER FOR THE PURPOSE OF A RECIPROCAL INSURANCE
CONTRACT AND IN THAT CAPACITY IS NOT PERSONALLY LIABLE ON THE
RECIPROCAL INSURANCE CONTRACT.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 48A, § 292.
In subsection (b)(1) and (2) of this section, the former references to the
"rights", "franchises", and "authority" of a corporation are deleted as
unnecessary in light of the references to the corporation's "powers" and to
conform to language used in CA § 2-103. The Insurance Article Review
Committee calls these deletions to the attention of the General Assembly.
In subsection (c) of this section, the references to "insurance" contracts are
substituted for the former references to "interinsurance" contracts to conform
to the language used throughout this subtitle.

3-214. SUBSCRIBERS' ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
(A) IN GENERAL.
THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF A DOMESTIC RECIPROCAL INSURER THAT
EXERCISES THE SUBSCRIBERS' RIGHTS SHALL BE CHOSEN UNDER RULES THAT THE
SUBSCRIBERS ADOPT.
