obligatory deductions set forth in this subsection, the balance of such earnings shall be
forwarded to the prisoner within 15 days of the date of his release from the Division's
jurisdiction.

(e) No prisoner employed in the community under the provisions of this section
shall be deemed to be an agent, employee or involuntary servant of the Department of
Correction while released from confinement pursuant to the terms of any "work-release"
plan. The provisions of [§ 4-701 of Article 41 shall] ARTICLE 41, § 4-701 OF THE CODE
DO not apply in the event of any injuries sustained in the gainful private employment of
any prisoner released under a "work-release" plan.

Any person who knowingly makes a false statement, report, or complaint in the
course of an investigation or any proceeding conducted under the provisions of this
subtitle is subject to the same penalties as provided in [Article 27,] § 150 OF THIS
ARTICLE.

(b) Subject to the provisions of §§ 742 through 755 of this article, Montgomery
County may request a criminal background record check on an applicant for a taxicab
license from the [Criminal Justice Information System Central Repository of the
Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services] CENTRAL REPOSITORY or,
through the Department, from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

(b) A court with jurisdiction over a criminal matter may, for good cause shown,
issue any order that is reasonably necessary to stop or prevent the intimidation of a victim
or witness or a violation of § 26 of this article or § 761 or § 762 of this subheading. This
authority includes the power to:

(1) Order any person not to violate the provisions of § 26 of this article or §
761 or § 762 of this subheading;
