shall remain in effect until April 30, 2000, after which the provisions shall be null and void
without the necessity of further action by the General Assembly.

SECTION 9. 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to the
provisions of Section 6 5 of this Act and for the sole purpose of providing for the
referendum required by Section 6 5, this Act shall take effect October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Tasting Days)

FOR the purpose of altering the number of days during which the Harford County Liquor
Control Board may issue tasting or sampling licenses; altering a fee; and generally
relating to alcoholic beverages in Harford County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 8-407(c) and (f)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

(c) Each of the respective tasting or sampling licenses under this subsection
SECTION is effective for a maximum of [24] 52 days in any licensing period.

(f) The cost of the CWBT license for holders of a BWL license is [ $250] $400
$350 each year in addition to the cost of the BWL license.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1997.
