D. PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (I) OF THIS SECTION, ONE
GERMANTOWN RESTAURANT LICENSE,

(iv) Three licenses may also be obtained as follows:

1. Original license;

2. Pursuant to subsection (c) of this section, one 3-Year
restaurant license; and

3. ONE FROM AMONG THE FOLLOWING LICENSES:

[3.] A. Pursuant to subsection (f) or subsection (g) of this
section, one Silver Spring or one Rockville-Major Mall restaurant license;

B. PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (II) OF THIS SECTION, ONE
GAITHERSBURG RESTAURANT LICENSE; OR

C. PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (I) OF TIES SECTION, ONE
GERMANTOWN RESTAURANT LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Cigarette Business Licenses - Manufacturers and Wholesalers

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a licensed manufacturer of cigarettes or a person
connected to the business of a licensed manufacturer from simultaneously holding a
financial interest in a cigarette wholesaler license or wholesaler business;
prohibiting a licensed wholesaler or person connected to the business of a licensed
wholesaler from simultaneously holding a financial interest in a manufacturer
license or manufacturer business; authorizing a manufacturer licensee, upon
approval of the State Comptroller, to act as an agent for a licensed wholesaler for
stamping and distribution of cigarettes: authorizing a wholesale licensee, upon
approval of the State Comptroller, to designate a licensed manufacturer to act as its
agent for the stamping and distribution of cigarettes; and generally relating to
cigarette business licensing.
