1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND

publication and service of process by publication, for reasonable fees for a necessary title
search, and for taxes, together with interest and penalties on the taxes, arising after the
date of sale that have been paid by the plaintiff. The plaintiff or holder of a certificate of
sale is not entitled to be reimbursed for any other expenses.

(b) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, in Anne Arundel
County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Calvert County, Caroline County, Cecil
County, Charles County, Harford County, Howard County, Kent County, Prince George's
County, Queen Anne's County, St. Mary's County, [and ] Washington County, AND
WICOMICO COUNTY, the plaintiff or holder of a certificate of sale is not entitled to be
reimbursed for expenses incurred within 4 months after the date of sale.

(2) This subsection does not apply to property for which the holder may file
a complaint any time after 60 days from the date of sale, pursuant to § 14-833(e) of the
Tax - Property Article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Revised Uniform Partnership Act

FOR the purpose of enacting the Revised Uniform Partnership Act; repealing the prior
Uniform Partnership Act; establishing rules to govern the relations among partners
in situations not addressed in a partnership agreement; providing for the formation
of partnerships, relations of partners to persons dealing with a partnership,
relations of partners to each other and to the partnership transferees and creditors
of partners, dissociations of partners, and conversions and mergers of partnerships;
providing for a certain fee for a certain filing; providing for the application of
certain tax laws to certain partnerships; providing for a delayed effective date;
providing for the application of this Act; making this Act severable; and generally
relating to partnership law partnerships.

Section 9-101 through 9-912, inclusive, and the various subtitles

Annotated Code of Maryland
