BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 292 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1989, as amended by Chapter
299 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1992

Section 3

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1989. [It shall remain effective until June 30, 1997 and, at the end of June 30,
1997, and with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1997.

Insurance Fraud Prevention Fee - Payment

FOR the purpose of clarifying the types of persons to which the Fraud Prevention Fee is
applicable; altering the times and method of payment of the Fraud Prevention Fee;

Prevention Fee.
