Ch. 636 1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND (2) violates any provision of § [2-1219(a) or § 2-1221] 2-1224(A) OR § PART V. OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS. (A) IN THIS PART V THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS (B) "DIRECTOR" MEANS THE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE. (C) "OFFICE" MEANS THE OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS. THERE IS AN OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE 2-1230. DIRECTOR. (A) THE HEAD OF THE OFFICE IS THE DIRECTOR, WHO SHALL BE APPOINTED (B) THE DIRECTOR SERVES WITHOUT A FIXED TERM AND MAY BE REMOVED (C) THE DIRECTOR IS ENTITLED TO THE SALARY PROVIDED IN THE STATE 2-1231. GENERAL AUTHORITY. (A) SUBJECT TO THE POLICIES AND DIRECTIVES OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE (B) THE DIRECTOR SHALL SERVE IN A NONPARTISAN CAPACITY AND 2-1232. DUTIES.
