Ch. 614 1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND (o) A distribution permit is void on conviction of the distribution permit holder (1) This section; or (2) Any rule or regulation adopted by the Board under this section. (a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) "[Hemodialysis] DIALYSIS drugs and devices" means: (i) Dialysate AND DIALYSIS SOLUTIONS; (ii) Dialyzers, delivery systems, and their accessory equipment (iii) Heparin; (iv) Local anesthetics AND ANY OTHER DRUGS AND DEVICES (v) Needles; (vi) Syringes; and (vii) Sterile sodium chloride, [0.9%] AND STERILE POTASSIUM (3) "Home [hemodialysis] DIALYSIS distribution permit" means a permit (b) (1) Except as provided under this subsection, a person shall hold a home (2) A licensed pharmacist may distribute [hemodialysis] DIALYSIS drugs (c) To qualify for a home [hemodialysis] DIALYSIS distribution permit, an (d) To apply for a home [hemodialysis] DIALYSIS distribution permit, an (1) Submit an application to the Board on the form that the Board requires; (2) Pay to the Board a fee set by the Board. - 3448 -
