(H) IN MAKING A DISPOSITION ON A FINDING THAT A CHILD AT LEAST 13
YEARS OLD HAS COMMITTED A VIOLATION UNDER ARTICLE 27, § 111 OF THE CODE
BY COMMITTING AN ACT OF GRAFFITI AS DEFINED IN ARTICLE 27, 111(D)(1) OF THE
CODE, THE COURT SHALL ORDER THE CHILD TO PERFORM COMMUNITY SERVICE
OR PAY RESTITUTION OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Board of County Commissioners - Composition

FOR the purpose of increasing the number of members on the Board of County
Commissioners of Carroll County; specifying that the Commissioners are to be
elected at large; submitting this Act to a referendum of the legally qualified voters
of Carroll County; providing for the effect of a passible contingency; providing for
the application of this Act; making a stylistic change; and generally relating to the
membership of the Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
The Public Local Laws of Carroll County
Section 3-1

Article 7 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1976 Edition and 1996 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 7 - Carroll County

3-1.

(a) There are [3] 5 County Commissioners for Carroll County WHO SHALL BE
ELECTED AT LARGE.

(B) Each County Commissioner is entitled to:

(1) A salary of [$32,500.00] $32,500 a year; and

(2) An allowance for expenses incurred in the performance of the duties of
that office, as provided in the county budget.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That before this Act becomes
legally effective it shall first be submitted to a referendum of the legally qualified voters
