On or before August 15, [1996] 2000, the Commission shall issue a report that:

(1) Evaluates the implementation and administration of the Program
through May 31, [1996] 2000; and

(2) Makes appropriate recommendations to the Montgomery County and
Prince George's County Delegations of the House of Delegates and Senate of Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995. [At] IT SHALL REMAIN EFFECTIVE FOR A PERIOD OF 6 YEARS AND,
AT the end of September 30, [1997 ] 2001, and with no further action required by the
General Assembly,[Article 28, § 2-305] THE MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
UTILIZATION PROGRAM UNDER ARTICLE 28, §§ 2-301 THROUGH 2-305 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission - Rules and Regulations

Concerning Property — Penalties

MC/PG 34-97

FOR the purpose of altering the maximum penalties that may be imposed by the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission for violating violations
of certain rules and regulations involving certain land or property acquired by, or
subject to the jurisdiction of, the Commission; specifying certain altering the
maximum limitations on the amount of the fines that may be imposed by the District
Court for violations of certain rules and regulations concerning property of the
Commission; and generally relating to the penalties that may be imposed for
violating violations of certain rules and regulations concerning property of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
