SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

9-217.

(b) The number of licenses of each class of alcoholic beverage licenses may not
exceed the following maximum amounts:

(2) Beer license, Class B.....................................................................[17] 23

(6) Beer and light wine license, Class B..............................................[35] 38

(12) Beer, wine and liquor license, Class B.......................................[164] 170

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Nuisance Abatement and Local Code Enforcement -
Community Associations - Enforcement Authority

PG 423-97

FOR the purpose of allowing qualifying community associations to bring certain actions
in the circuit court against qualifying nuisances, based on certain code violations,
within Prince George's County; requiring certain notices; requiring that a procedure
under this Act be expedited in certain manners; providing that a political
subdivision may not be subject to certain actions; providing for and limiting the
construction of this Act; defining certain terms; and generally relating to the right of
community associations to seek judicial abatement of certain nuisances.
