(D) (1) THE GOVERNING BODY OF BALTIMORE COUNTY OR OF A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN BALTIMORE COUNTY MAY GRANT, BY LAW, A
PROPERTY TAX CREDIT AGAINST THE COUNTY OR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
PROPERTY TAX IMPOSED ON PROPERTY OWNED BY THE GUNPOWDER VALLEY
CONSERVANCY, INC THAT IS USED:
(1) (I) TO ASSIST IN THE PRESERVATION OF A NATURAL AREA;
(2) (II) FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC;
(3) (III) GENERALLY TO PROMOTE CONSERVATION; OR
(4) (IV) FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF:
(I) 1. A NATURAL AREA FOR PUBLIC USE; OR
(II) 2. A SANCTUARY FOR WILDLIFE.
(B) (2) THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE CITY OR THE
GOVERNING BODY OF A BALTIMORE COUNTY OR OF A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
IN BALTIMORE COUNTY MAY PROVIDE, BY LAW, FOR:
(1) (I) THE AMOUNT AND DURATION OF THE PROPERTY TAX CREDIT
UNDER THIS SECTION; AND
(2) (II) ANY OTHER PROVISION NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE
PROPERTY TAX CREDIT UNDER THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws - Drunk and Drugged Driving Offenses by Children - Suspension or
Revocation of Driving Privileges
FOR the purpose of requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to revoke or suspend for
a certain period the driving privilege of a child found to have violated certain
provisions of law relating to drugged or drunk driving; requiring the Administration
to suspend for a certain period the driving privilege of a child for accumulating a
certain number of points against a driver's license; authorizing the Administration
to modify a suspension imposed under this Act or issue a restrictive license;
repealing a provision that prohibits the Administration, under certain
circumstances, from assessing points against a child found to have committed
certain drunk and drugged driving offenses; clarifying language; making stylistic
