AN ACT concerning

Allegany County - Alcoholic Beverages - Board of License Commissioners - Pay Schedule

FOR the purpose of modifying the required pay periods applicable to the Board of
License Commissioners for Allegany County and to the employees of the Board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 10-204(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

10-204.

(b) (1) This subsection applies only in Allegany County.

(2) The Director of Finance is the local collecting agent. The Director of
Finance shall remit and pay to each incorporated town or city in the County 50 percent of
the license fees received for the licenses that are issued for the places of business located
within the corporate limits of the respective town or city.

(3) (i) The chairman of the Board of License Commissioners shall submit
to the Director of Finance the total amount of the Board's budget, including:

1. Salaries for the Board members;

2. Salaries for such other employees as the Board deems

necessary; and

3. All other necessary expenses.

(ii) From the receipts, the County Commissioners shall pay:

1. The salaries of the Board of License Commissioners and its
employees [on a semimonthly basis] ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS; and

2. The expenses of the Board of License Commissioners upon
draft properly signed by the chairman of the Board.

(iii) The salaries and expenses of the employees of the Board shall be
subject to the approval of the County Commissioners.
