GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 353 CHAPTER 353 AN ACT concerning State Lottery - Prizes - Sovereign Immunity Defense Exception for Multistate Lottery Actions FOR the purpose of authorizing the State to raise a sovereign immunity defense to BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Annotated Code of Maryland (1995 Replacement Volume and 1996 Supplement) (As enacted by Chapter 505 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1996) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article — State Government 9-122.
