CHAPTER 328
(Senate Bill 103)

AN ACT concerning

Family Day Care Providers - Grant Funds - Extension of Sunset Provision

FOR the purpose of extending the termination of certain provisions relating to the Family
Day Care Provider Direct Grant Fund.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 168 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1994
Section 3

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Chapter 168 of the Acts of 1994

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994. It shall remain in effect for a period of [3] 6 years and, at the end of June
30, [1997] 2000, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall
be abrogated and of no further force or effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1997.

CHAPTER 329
(Senate Bill 122)

AN ACT concerning

Blind, Deaf, or Mobility Impaired Pedestrians — Right-of-Way — Penalties

FOR the purpose of altering the number of points that the Motor Vehicle Administration
is required to assess against an individual convicted of certain motor vehicle
violations related to the failure to yield the right-of-way to blind, deaf, or mobility
impaired pedestrians; and generally relating to the penalties for motor vehicle
violations.

BY renumbering

Article - Transportation

Section 16-402(a)(8) through (33), respectively

to be Section 16-402(a)(9) through (34). respectively
