State

To become available immediately upon
passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 1997 to provide
funds for settlement of claims by
contractors made against the State and in
keeping with the terms and conditions
approved by the Board of Public Works.

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
the funds appropriated to this program may
be expended for this purpose only and may
not be transferred by budget amendment or
otherwise to any other program or purpose.
