(a) When a law enforcement officer responds to a request for assistance under § (1) States that the victim may: (i) Request that a District Court commissioner file a criminal (ii) If the commissioner declines to charge the alleged abuser, request (iii) File a petition for relief from abuse in the District Court or circuit (IV) OBTAIN A COPY OF THE INCIDENT REPORT AS PROVIDED (2) Includes the telephone number of any local domestic violence program (b) A law enforcement officer may not be held liable in any civil action arising 800. When a law enforcement officer responds to a request for assistance under § 798 of Restitution 805A (A) IN THIS SUBHEADING THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS (B) "ABANDONED VEHICLE" HAS THE SAME MEANING AS STATED IN § 25-201 (C) "CHILD" MEANS A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS. (D) "COURT" MEANS THE COURT OF APPEALS, COURT OF SPECIAL APPEALS, (E) "CRIME" MEANS AN ACT COMMITTED BY ANY PERSON IN THE STATE - 2233 -
