[(e)](G) The provisions of this section do not apply to catching, selling,
purchasing, or possessing black sea bass.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the existing regulations
promulgated under § 4-735 of the Natural Resources Article shall remain in effect until
new regulations are promulgated under § 4-735(e) and (f) of the Natural Resources
Article as enacted by this Act are adopted.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Financial Institutions - Electronic Terminals - Application for Approval

FOR the purpose of altering the process for the approval of an application by a banking
institution for a proposed electronic terminal; and generally relating to the
application process for the approval of an application for an electronic terminal by
a banking institution.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

5-502.

(a) In this section:

(1) "Electronic terminal" means any manned or unmanned electronic
machine that:

(i) Enables a customer of a banking institution to:

1. Withdraw money from an account or under an authorized
line of credit of the customer with the banking institution;

2. Transfer money from any account of the customer with the
banking institution to any other account with the banking institution; or
