Executive and County Council of Prince George's County by January 30, 1998, proposing
a reorganization of the Commission's historic property maintenance and programming in
Prince George's County to increase the marketing potential of the County's historic
resources and increase private sector support and use of private sector resources for
historic preservation and marketing in the County.
SECTION 2. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October July 1, 1997.

Prince George's County - School Board Vacancies —Special Elections
PG 438-97
FOR the purpose of requiring certain vacancies on the Prince George's County Board of
Education to be filled by special election; requiring the candidate who receives the
greatest number of votes to take office on a certain date; providing for a certain
individual to fill the vacancy if no qualified individual files as a candidate; providing
that an individual appointed by the County Executive of Prince George's County to
fill a vacancy on the Prince George's County Board of Education serves until a
successor is elected at the next congressional election; and generally relating to the
Prince George's County Board.
