RI00.01 General Administration

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$827,243 of this appropriation shall be
contingent on enactment of legislation
(House Bill 492/Senate Bill 232) creating a
prepaid tuition program. Further provided
that $466,999 $223,471 of this appropriation
shall be contingent on enactment of
legislation (House Bill 493/Scnatc Bill 231)
establishing a scholarship program to cover
the cost of tuition and fees at State
institutions for students who graduate from
high school with a certain grade or grade

none of the $2,815,000 appropriated for the
Advanced Technology Centers Program

$185,000 has been budgeted in the
operating budget of the Maryland Higher
Education Commission for administrative
