(2) On notice of deficiency, a banking institution shall stop using the
electronic terminal.

(3) If the Commissioner determines that the deficiency has been corrected,
the banking institution may resume use of the electronic terminal.

(f) For purposes of this article, an electronic terminal is not a branch of a banking
institution.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Health Insurance - Maintenance Drug Prescriptions - Supply Quantity

FOR the purpose of requiring certain health insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and
health maintenance organizations that offer drug coverage to allow an insured or
enrollee to receive a certain supply quantity of a maintenance drug in a single
dispensing of a prescription under certain circumstances; authorizing an increase in a
certain fee under certain circumstances; providing for the application of this Act;
defining o certain term certain terms: providing for the termination of this Act, and
generally relating to requiring certain health insurers, nonprofit health service
plans, and health maintenance organizations to allow an insured or enrollee to
receive a certain supply quantity of a maintenance drug in a single dispensing under
certain circumstances.
