PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 227 (b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, AND EXCEPT AS PROVIDED (1) [operate] TRANSACT BUSINESS AS A DEALER for up to 7 consecutive (2) make purchases at an estate and judicial sale; and (3) transact business at the residence of the owner of a precious metal (i) on request of the owner; and (ii) after giving written notice of the proposed transaction and its (C) A DEALER IS NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH SUBSECTION (B)(1) OF 12-207. (a) Unless a license is renewed for a 2-year term as provided in this section, the (1) after the effective date of the license; and (2) in an even-numbered year. (b) At least 1 month before a license expires, the Secretary shall mail to the (1) a renewal application form; and (2) a notice that states: (i) the date on which the current license expires; (ii) the date by which the Secretary must receive the renewal (iii) the amount of the renewal fee. (c) Before a license expires, the licensee periodically may renew it for an - 1987 -
