(II) COVERS INDIVIDUALS WHO RESIDE AND WORK IN THE STATE
AND IS WRITTEN ON AN EXPENSE INCURRED BASIS.
(C) A POLICY, CONTRACT, OR CERTIFICATE SUBJECT TO THIS SECTION SHALL
INCLUDE COVERAGE FOR QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR
BONE MASS MEASUREMENT FOR THE PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT
OF OSTEOPOROSIS WHEN THE BONE MASS MEASUREMENT IS REQUESTED BY A
HEALTH CARE PROVIDER FOR THE QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL.
(D) EACH ENTITY SUBJECT TO THIS SECTION SHALL IDENTIFY AND USE THE
MOST CURRENT AND SCIENTIFICALLY ACCURATE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO:
(1) INCREASE AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE BY THEIR INSUREDS AND
QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS OF OSTEOPOROSIS AND METHODS OF DIAGNOSING
OSTEOPOROSIS, INCLUDING BONE MASS MEASUREMENT; AND
(2) ENCOURAGE THE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF
OSTEOPOROSIS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall apply to
policies, contracts, or certificates issued, delivered, or renewed on or after October 1,
1997.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

Repossessions - Accounting to Commissioner and Borrowers
FOR the purpose of eliminating the requirement of filing a certain accounting with the
Commissioner of Financial Regulation; revising the content of a certain accounting
required to be given to borrowers; and generally relating to the private sale of
repossessed goods.
