1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND

"employees" as including the "employees" of the employer is deleted as
implicit.

In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the reference to a "sole" proprietor is
substituted for the former reference to an "individual" proprietor for accuracy
and clarity. Similarly, the reference to a "sole proprietorship" is substituted
for the former reference to an "individual proprietor".

In subsection (b)(1)(i) of this section, the reference to a "partnership" is
substituted for the former reference to a "copartnership" for consistency with
subsection (a)(3) of this section.

Also in subsection (b)(1)(i) of this section, the reference to a "sole
proprietorship" is substituted for the former reference to an "individual
employer" for consistency with subsection (a)(2) of this section.

In subsection (b)(1)(ii) of this section, the reference to a labor union or
association that is "organized" in good faith is substituted for the former
reference to one that is "formed" in good faith for consistency with §
15-302(c)(2) of this title.

In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the reference to individuals "insured" is
added for clarity.

Also in subsection (b)(2) of this section, the term "individuals" is substituted
for the former reference to "persons" because individuals have dependents.

In the introductory language of subsection (b)(3) of this section, the former
reference to "an arrangement" is deleted as surplusage.

In subsection (b)(3)(ii) of this section, the reference to a "labor union" is
added for clarity and consistency within this section.

15-1103. TRANSPORTATION TICKET HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES.
(A) "TRANSPORTATION TICKET POLICY" DEFINED.

IN THIS SECTION, "TRANSPORTATION TICKET POLICY" MEANS A TICKET POLICY
OF HEALTH INSURANCE THAT:

(1) HAS AS ITS DOMINANT FEATURE THE PROTECTION OF THE INSURED
FROM A TRANSPORTATION HAZARD; AND

(2) IS SOLD AT TRANSPORTATION STATIONS, TICKET OFFICES, OR
TRAVEL BUREAUS BY:
