SUMMARY
Total Special Fund Appropriation...............................

The State may not demolish, lease, move,
donate, sell, or in any way transfer
ownership or control of the property known
collectively as the "Baltimore Life Building"
until the Departments of Budget and Fiscal
Planning and Transportation either:

(1) Have jointly submitted a written plan for
use or disposition of the building, which also
indicates how the State will recoup its $7.5
million investment; or

(2) Will transfer title to the building at no
cost to the Department of General Services
for use by another State agency which is
presently occupying leased office space; and

(3) The budget committees have reviewed
and commented upon the proposed
disposition of the building as outlined under
option (1) or (2) above or 45 days have
elapsed from the date the plan is received
by the committees.
