MARYLAND STADIUM AUTHORITY

23.01.03.02 Maryland Stadium Facilities Fund

Special Fund Appropriation;—provided that
not more than $12,725,000 of this
appropriation may be used to pay the lease
payment for existing debt for the land and
baseball stadium at Camden Yards unless a
greater amount is required in order to avoid
a default under the State's master lease
agreement., provided that it is the intent of the
General Assembly that the $1,000,000
Baltimore City grant shall be used to pay the
debt service on Camden Yards.
Further provided that no funds in excess of
this appropriation may be credited to the
Maryland Stadium Facilities Fund except by
budget amendment.
Further provided that the funds herein
appropriated for the purpose of
constructing a football stadium may only be
used for a project the size and scope of
which does not exceed $200 million.............
