SUBTITLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
18-101.

(a)     The Talbot County Commissioners shall regulate the retail sale of alcoholic
beverages within Talbot County.

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

6-202.

Any county or Baltimore City, or any municipality of the State of Maryland, in
addition to, the powers which it may now have, is hereby authorized to enter into any
agreements or contracts with the United States or any agency thereof, public drainage
association, public watershed associations and other groups or agencies, including without
limitation agreements, contracts, and obligations of repayment pursuant to the area
redevelopment program (42 [USC] U.S.C. §§ 3161 and 3162), in constructing, erecting,
financing, maintaining, using or operating any works of improvement.

9-305.

(c) The governing body of Harford County may provide, by law, a tax exemption
for transient charges paid by a nonprofit charitable organization to a hotel to provide
temporary shelter for individuals who are in need as a result of misfortune.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Misspelling in Article 24, § 9-305(c).

Occurred: Ch. 76, Acts of 1995. Correction by the Michie Company in the
1995 Cumulative Supplement of Volume 1 of the Code is validated by this Act.

9-318.

(b)     (5) Harford County:

(ii) After the distribution under [paragraph (i)] ITEM (I) of this
[subsection] PARAGRAPH, shall distribute 20% of the revenues collected in a municipal
corporation located in Harford County to that municipal corporation for use on tourism
or tourism-related projects; and

(iii) Shall distribute all remaining revenues after the distributions
under [paragraphs (i) and (ii)] ITEMS (I) AND (II) of this [subsection] PARAGRAPH to
the Harford County Tourism Council.
