AN ACT concerning

Reorganization of County Government

FOR the purpose of, and pursuant to Section 502 of the Charter, reorganizing County
government by abolishing the Office of Central Services, the Department of
Community Development, the Department of Permits and Licenses, and the Office
of Zoning Administration and Development Management; creating the Office of
Information Technology, the Department of Planning and Community Conservation
and the Department of Permits and Development Management; placing certain
functions and duties of County Government under the authority of certain new and
existing County offices and departments; providing certain offices and departments
with directors, personnel, duties, functions and responsibilities; providing certain
directors with certain authorities, duties, functions and benefits; expanding the
responsibility of certain inspectors; and generally relating to the duties, functions,
responsibilities and authorities of the offices, departments and personnel of the
Baltimore County government.
