RESERVED. 814. RESERVED. CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION 815. DEFINITIONS. (A) [For the purpose of this article:] IN THIS SUBHEADING THE FOLLOWING [(a)] (B) "Board" means the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. [(b)] (C) "Claimant" means the person filing a claim pursuant to this article. [(c)](D) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, "crime" (i) Committed by any person in this State which is a criminal offense (ii) Committed in another state against a resident of this State which is (iii) Of operating a motor vehicle in violation of § 21-902(a), (b), (c), or (iv) Of operating a motor vehicle or vessel which results in injury which (2) Except as provided in paragraph (1)(iii) and (iv) of this subsection, [(d)] (E) "Family" when used with reference to a person, means: (1) Any person related to such person within the third degree of (2) Any person maintaining a sexual relationship with such person; or (3) Any person residing in the same household with such person.
