GLENDENING, Governor S.B. 649 (C) (1) THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL CONSIST OF 13 MEMBERS (2) OF THE 13 MEMBERS: (I) FOUR SHALL BE PUBLIC MEMBERS; (II) THREE SHALL REPRESENT HEALTH MAINTENANCE (III) TWO SHALL REPRESENT LICENSED HEALTH CARE (IV) ONE SHALL REPRESENT HOSPITALS; (V) ONE SHALL REPRESENT THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND (VI) ONE SHALL REPRESENT THE MARYLAND INSURANCE (VII) ONE SHALL REPRESENT THE HEALTH CARE ACCESS AND COST (3) THE TERM OF A MEMBER IS 4 YEARS. (4) THE GOVERNOR SHALL DESIGNATE A MEMBER AS CHAIRMAN OF (5) THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE THE TIMES AND (6) STAFF FOR THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL BE PROVIDED BY SECTION 2.
