Ch. 673 1996 LAWS OR MARYLAND (3) the Commissioner of the Maryland Insurance Administration or the (4) the Administrator of the Motor Vehicle Administration or the (5) 3 members appointed jointly by the President of the Senate and the (i) 1 representative of the Maryland Rental Car Coalition; (ii) 1 representative of the motor vehicle liability insurance industry; (iii) 1 member at large. (c) The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Delegates shall (d) Staff support for the Task Force shall be provided by the Department of Fiscal (e) The purpose and responsibilities of the Task Force are to: (1) review the liability insurance issues, including primary coverage, (2) develop recommendations for methods to: (i) reduce costs to consumers of the automobile insurance industry (ii) reduce the confusion to consumers related to the insurance issues (iii) reduce costs to consumers of rental vehicles or the use of loaner (3) propose legislative, regulatory, and other changes required to implement (f) On or before December 1, 1996, the Task Force shall submit a report to the (g) The Task Force shall terminate on January 1, 1997.
