establishing procedures in proceedings under this Act involving two or more states
to establish, modify, or enforce a support order or to determine parentage;
providing that, with certain exceptions, the issuing tribunal retains continuing,
exclusive jurisdiction over a support order; establishing the priority of existing
multiple support orders; establishing procedures applicable to proceedings under
this Act; authorizing a tribunal of this State to issue a support order under certain
circumstances; establishing procedures for direct enforcement of the order of
another state without registration of the order with a tribunal of this State;
establishing procedures for enforcement and modification of the order of another
state after registration with a tribunal of this State; establishing procedures for a
party to contest the validity or enforcement of an order of another state that is
registered in this State; authorizing a tribunal of this State to determine parentage
of a child under certain circumstances; establishing procedures for interstate
rendition of certain individuals; defining certain terms; providing for the application
of this Act; making provisions of this Act severable; providing for a delayed effective
date; and generally relating to interstate enforcement of support orders.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 10-301 through 10-340, inclusive, and the subtitle
"Subtitle 3. Maryland Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act" of Article -
Family Law of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:
