THE FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMISSION SHALL BE
CONSIDERED EACH YEAR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUDGETS OF THE
DEPARTMENT, THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ADMINISTRATION, AND THE
MENTAL HYGIENE ADMINISTRATION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the initial
members of the Community Services Reimbursement Rate Commission shall expire at
the end of September 30, 1999: However, if Title 13, Subtitle 8 of the Health - General
Article remains in effect after September 30, 1999, then no more than three of the initial
members of the Community Services Reimbursement Rate Commission may serve a
second 3-year term.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996. It shall remain effective for a period of 3 years and, at the end of
September 30, 1999, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning
Higher Education - Bowie State University — State Center for Alternative Dispute
Resolution and Violence Prevention
FOR the purpose of creating recognizing the State Center for Alternative Dispute
Resolution, and Violence Prevention at Bowie State University; establishing
recognizing the Center as the central repository for materials, data, and information
relating to certain training programs; authorizing the Center to recognizing that the
Center shall operate a violence prevention program, implement violence prevention
networks, provide certain information and training, academic support, and other
services regarding violence prevention education, and provide certain educational
and academic support regarding violence prevention; encouraging individuals and
groups operating certain violence prevention programs to submit information to the
Center; requiring the distribution by the Center of certain information in certain
circumstances; establishing a certain intent of the General Assembly concerning the
funding of the Center and certain other violence prevention programs; and
generally relating to the creation recognition of a State Center for Alternative
Dispute Resolution and Violence Prevention at Bowie State University.
