AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Fingerprinting of License Applicants)

FOR the purpose of requiring the Board of License Commissioners of Carroll County to
obtain certain information relating to applicants for alcoholic beverages licenses in
Carroll County; requiring the fingerprinting of those applicants; requiring the Board
of License Commissioners to forward the fingerprints in a certain manner so they
will be transmitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a national criminal
history records check; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Carroll
County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

10-103.

(b) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, every new application for a
license shall be made to the Board of License Commissioners upon forms prescribed by
the Comptroller and sworn to by the applicant. Every application for a license shall
contain the following statements:

(13) (VIII)IN CARROLL COUNTY:

1. THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS SHALL:

A.      OBTAIN CRIMINAL RECORDS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
LICENSE APPLICANTS FROM THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM
CENTRAL REPOSITORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND
CORRECTIONAL SERVICES;

B.       REQUIRE APPLICANTS FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
LICENSES IN THE COUNTY TO BE FINGERPRINTED; AND
