1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND

______ I direct that no matter what my condition, I be given all available medical

treatment in accordance with accepted health care standards.

(4)     If I am pregnant, my decision concerning life-sustaining procedures shall be
modified as follows:

(House Bill 1362)

AN ACT concerning

Higher Education - Tuition and Fee Waivers - Members of the Maryland National Guard

FOR the purpose of requiring the governing boards of certain state institutions of higher
education, including community colleges, to waive one-half of the tuition charged
for certain courses for certain members of the Maryland National Guard under
certain circumstances; requiring that members of the Maryland National Guard be
certified as eligibl
e by the Maryland Adjutant General requiring the repayment of
a tuition waiver under certain circumstances; authorizing the presid
ents of certain
institutions of higher education, including community colleges, to waive up to 100%
of tuition for certain courses and fees for certain members of the Maryland National
Guard; defining certain terms
determine and submit a tuition waiver policy for
members of the Maryland National Guard to the Maryland Higher Education
Commission by a certain date; requiring the Maryland Higher Education
Commission to maintain a certain list and submit a copy of the list to certain
committees of the General Assembly by a certain date; stating the intent of the
