BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 15-201(h)(2)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

15-201.

(h) Members of the several boards shall receive compensation as follows:

(2) In Harford County:

(i) The Chairman of the Board shall receive an annual compensation
of [$3,000] $4,500;

(ii) Each member of the Board shall receive an annual compensation
of [$2,700] $4,000; and

(iii) The Chairman and each member of the Board shall receive any
additional compensation that the County Council deems appropriate.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED. That, pursuant to Article III.
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the Chairman and members of the Harford County
Liquor Control Board in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this
Act concerning the salary or compensation of the Chairman and members of the Harford
County Liquor Control Board shall take effect at the beginning of the next following term
of office.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996.

Alcoholic Beverages - Harford County
(Alcohol Awareness Training)

FOR the purpose of requiring in Harford County that the Alcohol Awareness Program
require that all licensees or supervisors be certified; and generally relating to
alcoholic beverages in Harford County.
