(3) A petition seeking the authorization of a court that a life-sustaining
procedure be withheld or withdrawn is subject to the provisions of §§ 13-711 through
13-713 of this subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning

Prohibition Against Hunting, Importing, and Selling Game - Exception

FOR the purpose of authorizing an exception to a certain prohibition against hunting,
importing, and selling game birds or game mammals where a person imports,
possesses, sells, offers for sale, purchases, offers to purchase, barters, or exchanges
imported, domestically raised, officially inspected, processed, and lawfully obtained
venison, other than white-tailed and sika venison; specifying record keeping
requirements for the importation and sale of certain venison; providing for the
construction of this Act; defining a certain term; and generally relating to certain
exceptions from a certain prohibition against hunting, importing, and selling game
birds or game mammals.

AND PASSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARDS ESTABLISHED BY THE:

(1) U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA); OR

(2) U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION (FDA).
