PROVIDED TO THE ADMINISTRATION BY THE POLITICAL SUBDIVISION UNDER THIS
SECTION, THE VEHICLE'S PRIOR REGISTRATION WAS SUSPENDED OR THE VEHICLE'S
REGISTRATION RENEWAL WAS DENIED; AND

(II) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED UNDER ITEM (I) OF THIS PARAGRAPH,
shall be retained by the Administration and may not be credited to the Gasoline and
Motor Vehicle Revenue Account for distribution under § 8-403 or § 8-404 of this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning

Health Occupations - Certified Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family

Therapists - Authorized to Practice

FOR the purpose of clarifying that a certified professional counselor is authorized to
practice professional counseling while the certificate is in effect; clarifying that a
certified marriage and family therapist is authorized to practice marriage and family
therapy while the certificate is in effect; and generally relating to professional
counselors and marriage and family therapists.
