ARE LIABLE FOR THE DEBTS, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES OF THE LIMITED
PARTNERSHIP.

(D)    A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP THAT HAS REGISTERED AS A LIMITED
LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP MAY WITHDRAW SUCH REGISTRATION BY COMPLYING
WITH § 9-801(E) OF THIS ARTICLE

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996 January 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Gives! - Establishment of Task Force on Charitable Giving

FOR the purpose of establishing a task force on charitable giving to be known as
"Maryland Gives!"; specifying the mission of the task force; providing for the
membership of the task force; requiring the Governor to designate a chairman of
the task force and to assign staff to the task force; requiring the task force to take
certain actions and to issue certain reports; providing for the termination of this
Act; and generally relating to the establishment and work of a task force to increase
the level of charitable contributions in Maryland.
