PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 347 (b) If a person fails to comply with a subpoena or refuses to be sworn or to testify, [2-111.] 4-110. (a) The Attorney General is legal adviser to the Department. (b) The Attorney General shall assign to the Department the number of assistant (c) (1) The Attorney General shall designate an assistant attorney general (2) The counsel to the Department [may have no other duty than to] (i) give the legal aid, advice, and counsel required by the Secretary or (ii) supervise the other assistant attorneys general assigned to the (iii) perform for the Department the duties that the Attorney General (3) The counsel to the Department shall perform these duties subject to the SUBTITLE 2. CLASSES AND POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS. (A) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO THOSE UNITS OF STATE (B) IN THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THE SECRETARY (1) ESTABLISH CLASSES; (2) ASSIGN A RATE OF PAY TO EACH CLASS; (3) ENSURE THAT EACH CLASS COMPRISES ONE OR MORE POSITIONS: (I) THAT ARE SIMILAR IN THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; (II) THAT ARE SIMILAR IN THE GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS (III) TO WHICH THE SAME STANDARDS AND, IF REQUIRED, TESTS - 2113 -
