(b) The easement must be in form and substance acceptable to the Trust
and the extent of the interest to be encumbered must be acceptable to the Trust.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning

Elimination and Consolidation of Certain Boards and Commissions

FOR the purpose of consolidating the District Advisory Boards in the Office of the Public
Defender into a Public Defender System Advisory Board a certain number of Public
Defender Regional Advisory Boards; eliminating the Department of Human
Resources Advisory Council; eliminating the Advisory Commission on Sports;
replacing members of the Board of Directors of the Maryland Jockey Injury
Compensation Fund, Inc. with the members of the Racing Commission; eliminating
the Blue Sky Advisory Committee; eliminating the Education Coordinating Council
and repealing certain obsolete language; eliminating the Commission on State
Publications Depository, and Distribution Program; eliminating the Water
Resources Advisory Commission; eliminating the Susquehanna River Watershed
Advisory Board; eliminating the Commission on the Capital City; eliminating the
Governor's Volunteer Council; and generally relating to the elimination and
consolidation of certain boards and commissions.
