other application of this Act which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and for this purpose the provisions of this Act are declared severable.

SECTION 8. 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That:

(a)     The publishers of the Annotated Code of Maryland, subject to the approval of
the Department of Legislative Reference, shall propose the correction of any agency
names and titles throughout the Code that are rendered incorrect by this Act.

(b)     The Department of Legislative Reference, in conjunction with the publishers
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, shall revise the Code, if necessary, to conform it to
the transfer of the offices of State Bank Commissioner and Commissioner of Consumer
Credit to the office of Commissioner of Financial Regulation, and this statutory revision
shall be ratified by passage of the Annual Corrective Bill of 1997.

SECTION 9. 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1996.

(House Bill 1267)

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Stadium Authority

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Stadium Authority to borrow a certain
amount for construction of a certain football stadium; requiring the football team
that leases the stadium to repay the amount in a certain manner
prohibiting the
Maryland Stadium Authority from closing on the sale of certain bonds unless the
Authority has secured a long-term lease with a National Football League team that
requires the professional football team to reimburse the Authority for a certain
amount of stadium construction costs subject to certain conditions, requiring the
Authority to transfer to a special fund for public school construction a certain
amount of money during certain fiscal years; allowing a dome to be built or added on
a stadium at Camden Yards only under certain circumstances; prohibiting certain events
from being conducted at certain professional sports stadia in the State under certain
circumstances;
establishing the Public School Construction Fund; providing for the
uses and administration of the Fund; expressing the intent of the General Assembly
that certain funds for school construction be in addition to and not in substitution of
certain other funds; modifying the entities that must be consulted with under certain
circumstances; allowing Memorial Stadium in Baltimore City to be used under certain
circumstances for certain purposes only if such use is approved by certain persons after
consulting with certain persons; providing that a certain activity may be conducted at
certain parking areas only if the activity has been approved by certain persons and the
activity does not interfere or impede with certain parking or traffic conditions;
