(a) (4) A reinsuring carrier may reinsure a group member or dependent within
a period of 60 days following the commencement of the group's coverage. A reinsuring
carrier may reinsure a newly eligible group member or dependent within 60 days of the
commencement of the new member's or dependent's coverage.

Administrator shall report to the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, the Senate
Judicial Proceedings Committee, [and] the House Appropriations [Committee]
COMMITTEE, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE LIBRARY before
January 15 of each year, in accordance with § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, on
current and projected expenditures from the Fund.
