(2) 20% OF THE PENALTIES COLLECTED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS
SUBSECTION SHALL BE TRANSFERRED INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE.
(B) A PERSON WHO IS CONVICTED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION
SHALL REIMBURSE THE BOARD FOR THE DIRECT COSTS OF THE BOARD. INCLUDING
COURT REPORTING SERVICES AND EXPERT WITNESS FEES. INCURRED AS A RESULT OF A
PROSECUTION UNDER THIS SECTION.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning
Unemployment Insurance - Dependents' Allowances and Earnings Disregard
FOR the purpose of increasing the amount of earnings that are not deductible from
unemployment insurance benefits; deleting the provision providing for the payment
of dependents' allowances; decreasing the maximum number of dependents for
which a claimant may be paid under a certain dependents' allowance; providing for
the effective date of the amendments application of certain provisions of this Act;
and generally relating to the payment of unemployment insurance benefits.
