AN ACT concerning

Education - Prince George's County - School Uniforms

PG 401-96

FOR the purpose of requiring authorizing the Board of Education in Prince George's
County to implement the use of school uniforms by all students in the public schools
in the County by a certain date; and providing for a delayed effective date. County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

3-806.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, IN PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY, THE BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL MAY IMPLEMENT THE USE OF SCHOOL
UNIFORMS BY ALL STUDENTS IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTY BY THE.
BEGINNING OF THE 1997-1998 SCHOOL YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1997 1996.
